The ZutonsBiographyWith a knack for writing madly shambolic yet brilliantly profound songs charming front man Dave McCabe can do cheerful melodies without going down the route of obvious 60's references (like certain other Liverpudlian bands) -saxophonist Abi Harding's harmonies with lead guitarist Boyan Chowdhury take The Zuton's sound to a new level. The Scouse scoundrels have left early single "Working on the Railroad" behind saying It's a bit two years ago and moved on to some more up-to-the-minute stuff - having just writ a load of new songs which they thought were well better. McCabe and the other lads/lady blazed through a 'boss' set on Music: Response and talked with Ian Camfield about how sad they are to have finished touring and being 'bezzie' mates/depressed drinking partners with Ian Brodie who produced some of their recent stuff. |
