To us here at Lelp, The Pine Hill Haints sound like a country infused Black Hearts Procession. Originally from Alabama, and now scattered through the South - mostly in Tennessee, The Haints bring a new sound to Southern roots music. Their debut Lelp release, which was recorded by Calvin Johnson at Dub Narcotic, will be out on August 3rd 2004.
