Alejandro FernandezBiographyAs a child, he accompanied his famous father Vicente Fernandez, on tours and on stage and it was precisely this way that he began his professional singing career, performing duets with his father. "Amor de los Dos", a duo with his father was his first recording. Folllowing in his father's steps, Alejandro abandoned architectural studies to pursue his passion: singing. Never venturing too far from his musical roots, Alejandro, developed his own romantic style and released a second solo, the single, titled: "El Andariego". After this, his musical schooling continued, as he worked with a Mariachi band to refine his Mexican style. Then in 1991, he recorded his first solo album titled, "Alejandro Fernandez". A second album, ("Piel de Nina"), follwed, this one in the traditional "ranchera" style, but with his unique imprint. After a slight change in style, somewhat more pop and mellow, Alejandro released two more albums, "Que Seas Feliz" and "Muy Dentro de Mi Corazan". Both were rich in ballads and appealed to younger audiences thus expanding his already growing popularity. |
